IKEA @ Lovemarks

“IKEA – a concept – a beautiful,
funny, practical, imaginative, creative one (and an economic solution too). Ikea
makes me feel free to become what I want to be. I can invent my house, discover
a new style, travel into the future, keep trends, and so on. Ikea means no
limits; it lets you turn your dreams into reality, because it is more than usual
shopping, is it an experience. All this is why Ikea is my Lovemark.

Are you kidding? Half
my house is from IKEA… and the nearest store is six hours away. Who wouldn’t
love tasteful, classic (or trendy, whatever you choose) furnishings and
accessories for prices you can’t beat?

It challenges people to
rethink one of the most important aspect of their lives – the space they live
in. It’s like somebody whacked you on your head and made you realise you can
have your life a bit more organised, a bit more stylish, a bit more colourful.
IKEA designers like to take some familiar concept and twist it in a way, that
makes you say “wow, that’s clever!”. It’s almost like furnishing is an
intellectual game. That’s IKEA’s greatest contributuion. That, and
flatpacks.

Ikea is the place where fantasy
became reality and where adults became children! At Ikea’s shop you can jump on
the chairs, sleep in the beds, improve your Swedish, invent your house, find
free pencils and leave your babies at the playfield…and it all fits in your
car!
