Hot Copy for a Hot Lamp
Is it me? Or is it my lamp?

“Turning on the lamp is as easy as turning me on, baby. The switch is on the electrical cord and it’s a big switch, which makes it easy to instantly turn off the lamp, just in case you don’t like seeing the hairy forests under my armpits or around my C-3PO and my two R2D2s when we get down to our Adam and Eve costumes.
With only me, you, and the glow from the Ikea Skyar Lamp, the first thing I would do is lay above you and lick your eyebrows, like I was a cat cleaning your fur. Awww, yeah. You know you like that. Then I would work my way down your beautiful face to your luscious nose, licking the tip of it. Don’t worry, baby. I brushed my teeth AND my tongue.
From there I would make my way south to your lovely lips, kissing them ever so gently and then licking them so that I can taste the flavor of your lipstick. Then I would passionately bite your lower lip, slowly pull it away from you, let it go, and then bark once like a dog.
By this point, I know you want me, but I’ll keep the anticipation high and make you want me even more….”

IKEA store in Round Rock, TX to open sooner

“Large furniture retailer IKEA plans to opens its doors in Round Rock this fall, several months ahead of schedule.
The
global superstore was originally scheduled to open its
252,000-square-foot store in Round Rock off of Interstate Highway 35
and Chandler Road in spring 2007.
Joseph Roth, a spokesman for IKEA, said the project is ahead of schedule despite the rainy weather earlier this year.
“The city has released the permits when they said they would,” Roth said. “Literally, everything has been moving smoothly.”
If IKEA’s store opens three to six months early, it could mean an extra 20
percent to 30 percent in sales-tax revenue for the city of Round Rock,
said David Kautz, the city’s assistant manager and chief financial
officer.
Last year, the city of Round Rock approved a $5 million
deal with IKEA to provide incentives in sales- and property-tax breaks.
The city also waived fees related to the construction of the store.
The Round Rock store is the third IKEA to open in Texas with stores located in Houston and Frisco…”

IKEA Self Watering Plant Pot Hack / Flood Rescue

Our friend in H.K., P.K. Shiu has come up with yet another clever mod – The IKEA Self Watering Plant Pot Hack / Flood Rescue.
“I am at the beginning of my Terrace dressup project. Bought a few IKEA PS FEJÖ self watering plant pot. The color scheme works nicely with the rest of the terrace. Planted our Clementine Mandarin orange tree in one of them. Then came the heavy rain. Because the pot is self watering, meaning there is a water reservior in the bottom, there is no drain hole. With a few days of non stop rain, the pot of soil turned into slush.
What to do? Physics to the rescue…”

Outside the Box*: Journeys
After a crazy opening week, its time to relax:

“Journeys bring power and love
Back into you. If you can’t go somewhere,
Move in the passageways of the self.
They are like shafts of light,
Always changing, and you change
When you explore them.”
