IKEA offers a 5 to 25 year warranty on many items and the quality of the Kitchen line is on par with European manufacturers, not Wal-mart. Sorry you had a bad returns experience, but dogging the entire store product range is a bit reactionary.

recently moved to Nashville Tn. and couldn’t believe there’s not an Ikea here!! Everyone I work with here at Vanderbildt University are huge fans! Would love to see one here, I believe the demographics would sustain it.

This is interesting that social media was used as a means to communicate for this situation. In many situation a person would just wait until there was stock or goes somewhere else but someone who is a fan or frequent shopper at the store helps to save the day. good job man.
